Details: Bacharach Rasin is the oldest manufacturer of lacrosse equipment in the country! The company began as an all-purpose sporting goods store on Howard Ave. in downtown Baltimore, selling mostly hunting and fishing equipment.
In the late 1930’s, an entrepreneur named Gaylord 'Peck' Auer bought Bacharach Rasin and quickly acquired exclusive US distribution rights from a Canadian Indian tribe that made Hickory lacrosse sticks. Almost overnight, Bacharach Rasin became the region's principle source for lacrosse sticks, gloves, arm pads, and helmets.
