Details: Accendo Academy is a Christian boarding school for troubled teens experiencing behavioral difficulties in the traditional school system. We provide a residential Christian boys home alternative to teenage boot camps and military schools. Our troubled teen program provides the discipline and structure teenagers need in a nonmilitary Christian home environment. We encourage teens to find Scriptural solutions for their problems. Instead of focusing solely on behavior modification, our Total Man Program addresses the five key aspects of a young man's life. Our goal is to lead troubled teens into a relationship with Jesus Christ that will produce permanent changes.
Our students typically exhibit such characteristics as: being disrespectful and rebelling against parental authority; rejecting parental love; refusing to act in accordance with the families Christian values; exhibiting poor choice of friends and social relationships; performing poorly in school due to behavioral and attention problems; using deception to get his way; acting without regard to consequences (irresponsibility).
