Courses are designed for anyone wishing to learn and master sound engineering, music production, and remixing techniques in the UK from a DJ making beats and tunes for their set on the part-time DJ course through to aspiring music producers.
Details: For over a decade Manchester MIDI School (M.M.S) has been providing cutting edge training for the music and multimedia industries for the novice and professional alike.
We are based in the City Centre in a music industry complex, unlike any other college.
We have established connections in the industry with current artists, recording studios and record companies.
All of our staff are active music industry professionals.
M.M.S. is an integral part of the international Steinberg (Cubase) Training Centre network. We are an authorised Apple Training Centre and an official Ableton School. Our students get discounts of up to 50% on software and equipment.
Our studios are always equipped with current ‘industry standard' software and equipment. They were designed, built and are only used for teaching purposes.
All courses are taught in studios on a personal level by qualified lecturers, emulating the studio session environment through their practical and interactive nature.
M.M.S guarantees more individual studio time per person than any other music technology college.
Technical support staff are solely dedicated to overseeing student's practical time 7 days a week.
Our students learn at their own pace, with creative freedom and with as much individual tuition as they need.
The training programmes place great emphasis on developing each person's technical abilities, as wellas their networking and communication skills.
