Its products include GPS receivers that process the satellite signals received through the antenna to determine precise positions; antennas, which support both single frequency and dual-frequency receivers; and augmented GPS products, such as the Black Diamond System that integrates third-party inertial measurement technology with the company’s GPS technology to provide with positioning data.
NovAtel is also the prime supplier of GPS ground reference receivers to national satellite-based augmentation systems (SBAS) worldwide, including the U.S.Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS), Europe’s European Geostationary Navigation Overlay System (EGNOS), Japan’s MTSAT Augmentation System (MSAS), and China’s Satellite Navigation Augmentation System (SNAS).
