Details: Katie's Light House has been manufacturing primitive colonial light fixtures by hand since 1983, when Katie started hammering together tin chandeliers in her garage. Many of our products are strict reproductions of primitive tin chandeliers, wood chandeliers, lanterns and sconces. But some of our products are a modern fusion heavily inspired by colonial designs. They are all available in hand-painted crackled milk paint finishes as well as our extraordinarily aged Authentique finishes.
Our flagship products are our wood chandeliers, in particular the Gandaddy Elder, Elder IV, and Grand 4-Tier Kingston chandeliers. These chandeliers are each more than three feet in diameter and have 36 arms, making them an awe-inspiring sight to say the least.
Many Katie's Light House fixtures are available without electrification, allowing the primitive connoisseur to light a room with candles rather than light bulbs.
